01
Problem Statement
Nextround began as a start-up with a strong concept, but the front-end and back-end are still basic and unstable, leading to challenges with usability and scalability. The current interface lacks consistency, and the design could benefit from better structure, like implementing a grid system. As the platform grows, these foundational issues need to be addressed to ensure stability and a smooth user experience.
02
Solution
To solve these issues, together with Nextround we planned to expand its platform by introducing new features while improving the current interface. A grid system will be applied to create a more structured layout, and design consistency will be prioritized by introducing a design system to offer a cohesive user experience. On the technical side, both the front-end and back-end will be optimized to improve stability and performance. This step-by-step approach will ensure that Nextround can scale effectively while continuously enhancing the user experience.

Result
Working in weekly sprints, I collaborated closely with the team to address the client’s needs. Each sprint began with the client presenting a problem or feature request, and I, as the UX designer, would create prototypes and design solutions. Once the designs were approved, they moved on to development for implementation.
During this process, I created a detailed product overview that enhanced internal communication and ensured a clear understanding of the platform’s current state and future direction. I also improved the flow for individual boxing training sessions, streamlining the user experience to make it more intuitive and user-friendly. Additionally, I designed a new feature specifically for personal trainers, allowing them to build and manage their own training sessions, bringing a more personalized touch to the platform. Lastly, I worked on a leaderboard feature for the mobile app, encouraging user engagement by allowing users to compete and track their rankings with friends.
